THE MANOR
Then & Now
Paula began her journey to find her dream home many years ago. 15 years in the making, "better late than never", she says. When she was young she was taken back by the beauty and majesty of old world craftsmanship, and architecture. With an inclination to gothic, and medieval times. Castles, Manors, and Chateau’s. Her fascination with Castle' s and the renaissance grew and she always dreamed of living in such a place, with sprawling acres of gardens, water features, a secret garden or English garden, reflecting pools, a home with many rooms, one for each occasion. She has traveled throughout the United States and enjoyed homes such as the Winchester Mansion, and The Castle of Galveston. Staying at many historic hotels enriching her love of Victorian Era, old world architecture, fine woodwork, crown moldings, intricate detail & homes built as a work of art! So the Quest began, that one day she would have her dream home...
Upon her fourth attempt she was able to qualify for a home she could be happy with. After saving diligently for three years, and working tirelessly she finally decided it was time.
Now in her words...
I welcome you all here today and thank you for being a part of this special occasion. My house naming dedication ceremony. What better way to have a housewarming than to invite all my friends and family and the team who made this dream a reality.
To name a thing is important this house called to me from the beginning and has a great destiny. It has shared with me in inspired vision just how it desires to be dressed up, transformed and honored. Within and without.
I knew I wanted a home of my own. I visualized, affirmed, and worked very hard. In October 2014, I was referred to Mike Turner of Turner Realty by my Good friend John Foster an Angel no less. I went in for a pre-approval and Voila I was approved. After working hard day and night, and saving I had my down payment and saved enough so I thought for improvements too.
After looking at over 200 listings online, you could say I had champagne taste and a beer budget. I wanted a castle really, a small mansion, say 3,000 to 5,000 sq. feet or more… and a few acres, but well I didn’t have quite a million dollars.
So I told Mike help me find one of those $500,000 dollars’ homes that are now in my price range. I wanted double door entry, fireplace, interesting architecture, vaulted ceilings, walk in closet, large master bath and shower, pool, spa, lots of storage and big kitchen, formal dining and family room.
I said find me a small castle estate. We toured several properties, nothing struck me except a 3,000 sq. foot custom home on half an acre but they wanted cash, and it needed work. The first home I found online my number one choice Autumn Moon, I loved the photos and address. As soon as I saw it I loved it. We put in an offer, they took it right away. With Mike doing a great job at negotiation I was able to get in. The Arduous task of waiting 5 months to close was very hard. But Mann Mortgage and Mike worked very hard. I almost gave up hope at the end. After prayer and meditation, I continued on.
The First home Mike took me to was one he had redone. A vintage Vegas home mid-century neighborhood, very nice, lots of space, but not quite right for me. But I loved what his vision was for it.
We then went to 711 Autumn Moon Drive, my first home of choice from Zillow. I fell in Love right away. Although it wasn’t horse property with a few acres, or 5,000 sq. feet. I saw a lot of potential and was nearly in my price range. We put in an offer right away. That was October. In the following weeks toured other homes, did not like any of them, except 2402 Nordoff ct. Custom 3,000 sq. feet home ½ acre very nice but needed work. They wanted $239,000 cash, maybe 20K to fix it up. Could not swing it, put in offer at $170,000 but it was turned down. It’s now worth about 268k.
So after months of negotiating Mike and Robert Coomer of Mann Mortgage were able to get me a great deal. House appraised for $270,000, I got it for $268,000 and the seller paid most of the closing. It was a Short Sale, and took 5 months to close. I didn’t get excited until I was signing the final papers. I closed March 31, 2015. I remember getting the key, it was like I was in a dream. I could hardly believe it.
Buying a home has been one of the hardest things I have ever done. Three years at least of saving. Being a business owner I had to pay myself enough to qualify for this home. I was only pre-approved for 250k, but after looking at my financials they were able to get my loan for 263k. $13,000 more than my pre-approval, a miracle. They did a great job, because I don’t know if I could have gone through it again. If I ever buy again, most likely cash would be best. Done and over with.
Being single, a business owner they rake you through the coals looking at financials, if it were not for my CPA Lynna F. Hodgin of Ken & Ashworth , My bookkeeper Victoria of Nevada Financial, My Attorney Chaz Rainey of Rainey Devine Legal group and My Michelle & Danielle of my payroll company Americana Payroll, I don’t think I would have qualified. If you’re thinking about buying a house have your ducks in a row start planning 2-3 years out minimum.
I have a very long list of people to thank. Most of All I thank God whom without nothing could be possible. I prayed, affirmed, and visualized every day for almost three years. I had my church pray. Thank you Unity of Las Vegas on Rainbow & Westcliff. My family and friends who believed in me and encouraged me I had many miracles happen along the way, miraculous debt relief, unexpected windfalls, more than enough business. I am so grateful that I have been blessed with the health, and prosperity to make such a great accomplishment. A place I can call home.
I want to thank the following for helping me with making this dream come true…

My vision for this home
First a thing must be named
I have chosen the Fleur De Lys Manor-The Fleur De Lys has been used in Heraldry, as a coat of arms, a Lilly, or IRIS it has connections to the knight Templars and dates back to ancient Egypt. I have come to see it as a stylized cross, and also as a symbol of the trinity. It is also a form of the lotus. Deep, mystical, and contains many secrets. It is a powerful symbol and has deep meaning. Probably a past life connection. As an oracle from Los Angles Marlena once told me that I lived in Egypt during the building of the pyramids, also in India and in The Dakotas as a Native American
As a tribute to my French Heritage and to remind myself of the divinity within and to treat myself special. I recognize that we are all royalty and come from the same place.
I have chosen this home or should I say it chose me.
ANGEL NUMBER 711 one meaning is…
Number 711 is a combination of the vibrations of the numbers 7 and 1, as well as the karmic number 11. Number 7 lends its attributes of spiritual awakening, mysticism, inner-wisdom and spiritual enlightenment, persistence of purpose, understanding and good fortune. Number 1 adds its influences of motivation, positivity, ambition, inspiration, fulfilment and happiness. Number 1 symbolizes ‘new’. The Master Number 11 tells us that to connect with our higher-selves is to know and live our Divine soul mission and life purpose, and symbolizes the principles of spiritual awakening and enlightenment.
Angel Number 711 is a powerful, spiritual message from the angelic and spiritual realms.
When the Angel Number 711 appears repeatedly, pay special attention to your thoughts and ideas as these are revealing the answers to your prayers and are giving you intuitive guidance in regards to the next steps on your Divine life path.
The repeating number 711 is a message that you are doing a great job and are on the right life path and you are encouraged to continue along as you are. This repeating number sequence is a sign that you have chosen your thoughts well and have made wise choices and decisions.
You are reminded also that the emotion of 'gratitude' will speed the process of your manifestations, so remember to acknowledge and be grateful for all the blessings entering your life.
The repeating number 711 encourages you to maintain a positive attitude towards your life’s happenings, and keep up your prayers, visualizations and positive affirmations.

My Vision-For my Forties & Beyond…
This my home, my refuge, my sanctuary. I see myself creating, expressing, cultivating my inner awareness. To be a place where I and others can be inspired and a magical place where dreams and visions come to life for abundance and prosperity. To call forth my ancestors and guardians to guide and protect me and my home.
I dedicate my home to be a place of inner reflection, contemplation, and rest from the world. To be a welcoming space for family and friends to nurture creativity, deepen bonds, and inspire hope and peace.
Over the years I have opened my home up to friends, family, people I have sponsored in twelve step recovery, and I have been richly blessed, and I am grateful for all these experiences. And rededicate this space and myself to helping others in need as I am able, as God makes me fit to do so.
In this New House, now my Home 711 Autumn Moon Drive- I see myself returning to school, returning to my first love music, continue writing my books, and pursue my passion for teaching and public speaking, to continue on in all my creative pursuits, to establish my non-profit foundation LOV8U.com to beautify and heal communities.
And yet this is only the beginning…
